The Martinhal brand is known for its luxury family resorts and real estate (www.martinhal.com).  The first resort development in Martinhal Sagres, a 5-star resort at the beach on 40 hectares at the corner of the Algarve’s stunning coast, opened in 2010 and established the group’s reputation as a leading developer in Portugal.

Between 2014 and 2016, they opened 3 other Martinhal hotels and resorts in the Algarve and greater Lisbon. The latest project Martinhal Lisbon Oriente/ Martinhal Residences (www.martinhalresidences.com) opened in June 2023 - a luxury hotel and branded residences that offers a selection of luxury apartments tailored for luxury holidays, long-term rentals or living. 

The group has invested in and developed buildings in other real-estate classes in the Lisbon area, such as the office building that is now Ageas headquarters in Lisbon and the United Lisbon International School, (www.unitedlisbon.school), a member of the Dukes Education family of schools now.  The school is the first piece of a larger innovation and education ecosystem – the Edu Hub – which totals 35,000sqm of development above soil and apart from the school, will have a hybrid hospitality product, as well as office spaces (www.eduhublisbon.com).
