During the second quarter of this year, 233 housing assets were acquired in Lisbon’s city centre by buyers from 31 different countries, for a total of 112.3 million euro.

Management company Bartipart concluded the acquisition of 15 retail areas in Portugal and Spain for more than 200 million euro from international group Adeo.

There are several ongoing large transactions in Portugal, which can lead to 1.000 million euro in real estate investment during the second semester.

Commercial real estate investment surpassed 1.600 million euro during this year’s first semester, through main operations concluded during the first quarter, according to Worx.

Most real estate investment plans in Portugal were put «on hold» with the pandemic, but investors’ intentions seem to remain the same, and investors are alert to new opportunities.
